Atlanta Property Group has acquired the Class A office building at 2801 Buford Highway known as Druid Chase.  Located in Atlanta's Chamblee/Doraville/Druid Hills submarket, the  building contains 113,820 square feet of space on six floors and is currently 78% occupied.  Extensive renovations will commence Spring 2011, including upgrades to the lobbies, corridors, restrooms and building systems.

This acquisition increases Atlanta Property Group’s metro area portfolio to 1.7 million square feet.  “Druid Chase is a compelling opportunity for value-oriented tenants,” commented Court Thomas, a Partner at Atlanta Property Group.  “We have ample capital available for renovations, tenant improvements and leasing commissions, and we will  compete aggressively for new tenants.” 

APG has partnered with Lavista Associates, Inc. to lease the building.  Kirven Brantley of Lavista commented, “Atlanta Property Group has set itself apart as a well-capitalized, hands-on, local owner that is willing to go the extra mile to attract new tenants and develop loyal tenant relationships.”

Lincoln Property Company will be responsible for the management of the properties.
